URB.ABLE

When cities fit everyone, everyone fits in.

Cities should be for everyone, but too many young people still face everyday barriers. URB.ABLE gives them tools, spaces and a voice to reimagine urban life through inclusion and accessibility.

Make your city more accessible, starting today.

THE PROJECT

URB.ABLE is a two-year Erasmus+ project that supports young people and youth workers in making cities more inclusive and accessible. Through walkshops, labs, urban mapping and dialogue with local authorities, the project transforms everyday experiences into civic action.

Led by seven partners across Europe, URB.ABLE brings together experts in youth work, education and accessibility to co-create tools, methods and spaces for real urban change.

Cities should feel like home, not like a test.

That's why we're developing materials and activities to turn ideas into action, to make cities more accessible, like:

Barrier-Breakers Handbook

A practical guide for youth workers to explore urban accessibility with young people. It offers creative methods, inclusive activities, and real case studies to support awareness and action in any urban context.

Access-Aware Walkshops

City walks with a purpose, where young people map real-life barriers in their neighbourhoods, share lived experiences, and turn observations into civic proposals.
Learning happens on the move, always together.

URB.ABLE EUROPEAN Platform

A digital space to connect, learn and act. The platform gathers tools, stories, maps and policy ideas created by young people across Europe.
Open, growing, and ready to inspire new action.

URBAN-WORLD CAFés

Lively local events where young citizens and decision-makers meet face to face. In cafés, libraries or public squares, we co-create bold ideas for fairer, more accessible cities, over honest conversations.
